Our mission is to foster personal growth, mutual support, and meaningful connections among young adults navigating life’s challenges.
Your donations help us provide free and accessible peer coaching to young adults worldwide, enabling us to build confidence and connection.
Currently we have donation links set up in three currencies - £ GBP, $ USD and € EUR. For any other currency or for custom amounts, please email us at admin@questoflife.org stating the amount, your preferred currency, and whether you'd like to make a one-off or a recurring donation. We will then set up a custom donation link for you.
To ensure compliance with international regulations and the policies of our payment processors, we have compiled a list of countries from which we are unable to accept donations or payments for our services. Residents of these countries are kindly requested not to attempt transactions with us. Attempting such transactions may result in funds being frozen or returned, and could potentially lead to account suspension.

We're currently looking for volunteers with expertise/interest in any of the following:
We're always on the lookout for passionate and caring volunteers who want to give back to the community by running groups or offering 1-on-1 coaching. Please note that being accepted into training doesn't guarantee progression to becoming a Quest of Life facilitator.
What to Expect from Training
- Training will consist of two 8 week blocks with an assessment at the end of each block that will determine whether you can continue to the next stage
- You will learn about topics including Motivational Interviewing, ethics, stages of change, the vedic model of the mind, motivation and goal setting, practical coaching skills, compassion fatigue
- Weekly group sessions (2h) consisting of a combination of learning theory, group discussion, roleplay and other exercises
- 1-on-1 coaching practice with your peers and some of our facilitators
- Independent study/reflection/homework: Min 2h/week
- A lot of fun and cool new friends!
Post-Training Time Commitment
- 16 week blocks (each group lasts 16 weeks)
- 2h / week for each group
- 1h / week for each 1-on-1 client
- 2h workshop each week (optional)
- 2h case review each week (optional)
Facilitator Responsibilities
- Facilitate peer support groups either by yourself or with a co-facilitator and/or offer 1-on-1 coaching
- Proactively reach out for support with any issues you encounter in your work with clients
- Complete post-session documentation
- Work in alignment with our Ethical Framework
Requirements
- You want to give back to the community by becoming a Quest of Life facilitator
- You've completed at least one of our groups. 16 week groups are preferable, but we will accept applicants who've only completed a 4 week group.
- You're curious and eager to learn more about coaching and group facilitation
- You're ready to go out your comfort zone and want to be challenged during training

- You're a caring person and a curious and empathetic listener

Safeguarding
Lead
We're looking for an experienced and qualified individual to build, train and lead a crisis intervention team for our community.
Responsibilities
- Review and improve our ethical framework and guidelines
- Identify potential risks and develop protocols for handling and reporting incidents
- Develop a crisis intervention service for people in our community
- Provide or arrange appropriate training for facilitators and other volunteers
- Recruit and build your team
- Closely collaborate with other leads and admins
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure the well-being of volunteers and clients
- Facilitate referrals to community resources
- Document all crisis intervention services provided
- Develop ethical standards and guidelines for volunteers
Requirements

- At least two years of experience in crisis intervention and/or emergency services

Lead
We're looking for someone to take charge of marketing and public profile
Responsibilities
- Oversee all marketing campaigns for Quest of Life
- Manage and update our social media channels
- Collaborate with and manage other volunteers to create engaging content

- Closely collaborate with the admin team, especially around recruitment and fundraising

- Formal training in marketing is a plus

Lead
We're looking for a community lead to help us grow and maintain our Discord community. If you've been active in our community and enjoy interacting with others, you might be a great fit for the role! Currently our main goal is updating the community on all the exciting things happening behind the scenes, but we also think the server could be much more than just a booking portal for groups. We're looking for someone who is proactive and driven and creative, and wants to work with us and the community to figure out what we can offer beyond running groups, and how to put it into action.
Responsibilities
- Work with the mod team to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere, promptly resolve conflicts, and answer community questions.
- Communicate organizational updates and other announcements to the community
- Shape the direction of what Quest of Life can offer on Discord beyond groups and coaching
- Plan and execute engaging long-term and short-term content plans tailored to the needs of the community
- Foster interactions and increase engagement on the server through creative initiatives

Moderator
As our Discord server grows, we anticipate more activity and an increasing need for moderation. We're therefore on the lookout for volunteers who care about helping us foster a safe and welcoming space for our community.

Advisor
As an British community interest company offering services to people from all over the world and working with volunteers from all over the world, there are a lot of things for us to consider from a legal perspective. We're looking for people familiar with British and international laws to help us navigate the legal side of things.
Responsibilities (Examples)
- Provide legal advice on contracts, policies, and organizational compliance
- Advise on liability issues for volunteers and coaching activities
- Ensure data protection and privacy compliance, especially for international volunteers
- Review organizational policies and offer recommendations
- Support legal documentation and filings as needed

Facilitator
If you're an experienced and certified coach or facilitator and would like to contribute, there may be lots of different way to do so. What are you interested in? Would you like to run groups? Support volunteer facilitators? Help us with training? We'd love to hear how you would like to contribute.

Lead
We value feedback from clients and want to develop a more rigorous data-driven approach to growing and improving our services. We're looking for someone knowledgeable and experienced in psyschology research to help us design feedback forms and evalutation metrics in the short run and work towards publishable research in the long run.
Responsibilities
- Design evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness of our groups, 1-1 sessions and training programme
- Select, develop and implement appropriate research methodologies and methods, evaluation strategies and research tools
- Identify opportunities for research
- Ensure consistent adherence to ethical guidelines governing the study of human participants
- Work with other volunteers to identify and apply for relevant funding opportunities

We have several different projects planned or in progress and are open to further suggestions. Current projects:
- Website with user and facilitator logins to function as a booking portal with Discord bot integration and access to tools and resources for both clients and facilitators
- Discord bot to aid with managing group servers, tracking attendance, awarding points...
- Chatbot to practice communication skills (reflective listening etc)
Responsibilities
- Work with our tech lead do define your role and responsibilities based on your experience, interest and ability
- Contribute to the development of new tools for Quest of Life
